Petaluma Studio, Free Print & Upcoming Shows

Studio Warming Was a Hit!

Sunday, August 10th marked the first open house of my downtown Petaluma studio.

For the past eight months, I’ve been here learning, painting, planning, and preparing for upcoming shows at Paint Sausalito and Toby’s Gallery in Point Reyes Station this September. This was my first opportunity to share all that I’ve been working on.

The studio warming was humbling and energizing. It gave me a chance to share my workspace, talk about my painting process, and open the doors to future events, classes, and gatherings.

👉 Free Print

If you missed the free print — or the event itself — there are still a few numbered copies of La Rosa, Neighborhood Trees, and California Love available. I’d be happy to send one your way as a thank-you for your support. Just reply to this email with your mailing address and the one you’d like.

On the Calendar

Paint Sausalito

August 18 – September 14

I’ll be live painting the week of August 18th alongside some of the region’s most talented plein air artists. Fresh paintings will be hung at the end of the week, and you’re invited to the opening reception on Saturday, August 23, 6–8pm.

Reserve your free ticket here, or just drop by.

Point of Change – Toby’s Gallery

Opening September, Point Reyes Station

I’m honored to show alongside Barbara Tapp and Clark Mitchell as we tell the story of change in Point Reyes National Seashore, from generations of dairy farming and ranching to a new chapter in conservation with The Nature Conservancy and the National Park Service.

Over the past several months, we’ve painted in Point Reyes, learned its stories, and worked to capture this moment of rewilding.

Opening reception is Sunday, September 7th 1pm-4pm, it's free and open to the public. I’d love to see you there!

Toby’s Gallery is at Toby’s Feed Barn
11250 Highway One, Point Reyes, CA.

Petaluma Peach Tree

Petaluma Museum and Beyond Good things are happening in a small corner of Northern California. My work is being featured in a group show at the Petaluma Museum! This spring also brings a Warehouse District event and two consecutive weekends of Sonoma County open studios. A friend told me recently that my paintings made her want to hop in the car, drive through Petaluma and out to the coast. That's everything, honestly. This year I want to spend less time online and more time painting the...
